🧭 How to Get to Rhyl Town Hall

Whether you're travelling by car, train, or bus, Rhyl Town Hall is easy to reach. Here’s everything you need to plan your journey.

🚗 By Car

Rhyl is easily accessible from across North Wales and beyond:

  • From the A55 (North Wales Expressway):
    Exit at Junctions 25 or 26 and follow signs for Rhyl via the A548 coast road.

  • From the A525:
    Travel north through St Asaph and Rhuddlan directly into Rhyl town centre.

  • Parking:
    Paid public car parks and street parking are available nearby. Rhyl Railway Station car park is only a 5-minute walk away

 

🚌 By Bus

Rhyl Bus Station is adjacent to the railway station and just a few minutes’ walk to the Town Hall.

    • 35, 36 (circular services)

    • 51, 51B, 52 (to Denbigh and surrounding areas)

    • 45, 46 (to Bodelwyddan)

    • F18, F19 (to Flint)

    • 54, 85 (local Rhyl services)

🚆 By Train

Rhyl Railway Station is centrally located and just a 3–5 minute walk to the Town Hall.

    • Transport for Wales: Regional and coastal North Wales routes

  • Typical Travel Times:

    • London Euston – 2h 42m

    • Manchester – 1h 37m

    • Chester – 30 mins

  • Station Facilities:
    Step-free access, waiting rooms, ticket office and machines, café, toilets, parking and bike racks.

🚌 Long-Distance Coach

While there are no direct coaches to Rhyl from London, a typical journey involves:

  • Coach from London Victoria → Chester

  • Change to train or local bus → Rhyl

Total journey time is approx. 7–8 hours. Budget-friendly, but slower than rail.

✈️ By Air

  • Liverpool John Lennon Airport – approx. 32 miles away (~1 hour by car)

  • Manchester Airport – approx. 56 miles away (~1.5 hours by car)

From the airport, you can hire a car or travel by train via Chester.

🗺️ Walking Directions from Train/Bus Station

  1. Exit the station onto Bodfor Street.

  2. Walk southeast onto High Street.

  3. Turn right onto Wellington Road – the Town Hall will be signposted and on your left.
